Marie LeBlanc, Board Chair

Marie LeBlanc will chair the 2016-2018 YNPNdc Board of Directors starting in August 2016. Marie has served on the board since August 2014 and joined as a member in January 2014. When she's not working with YNPNdc, Marie is the Manager for Critical Issues and Sector Advancement at Independent Sector, where she identifies emerging issues in the charitable sector and develops knowledge and resources to help organizations adapt and thrive. Marie is a graduate of the ProInspire Managing for Success program and spoke about millennial talent at the 2016 Nonprofit Talent and Culture Summit, hosted by Nonprofit HR. Marie earned her Bachelors from the Florida State University in 2010, and her Masters from the London School of Economics in 2011. Marie volunteers as an ESL teacher for the Washington English Center, which works to improve the lives of immigrants in the DC area through education. Her favorite DC spot is Yards Park in Navy Yard, where you can catch her enjoying summer concerts, Ice Cream Jubilee, and the latest Blue Jacket brew.
